Microdermabrasion
Transform dull, drab skin into radiant, healthy glow with Syneron's Libra Microdermabrasion. With crystal and crystal-free, you can obtain great results even on sensitive, fragile or thin skin. This is a great skin care regime to incorporate with lasers as an exfoliating process in between, or as a finishing touch.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels use a chemical solution to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. Chemical peels can be helpful for individuals with facial blemishes, wrinkles, and uneven skin pigmentation. They may also remove pre-cancerous skin growth, soften acne facial scars, and even control acne.
Peels
Peels revitalize and refresh tired looking skin by peeling away the evidence of fine lines, roughness, patchy dryness, and sun damage. We offer the following peels:
- Vitalize Peel
- from Skin Medica brings the benefits of Lactic Acid, Resorcinol and Salicylic Acid in a unique blend to provide a strong, but gentle treatment that is appropriate for all skin types. Vitalize Peel has been clinically proven to help reduce the visible signs of aging.
- TCA Peel
- a very aggressive peel to improve the skin's appearance by removing the outer layer of damaged skin to reveal the underlying layer, which is newer and smoother in texture. TCA peels help diminish hyperpigmentation, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles. Expect to have 7-10 days downtimes.
- Glycolic Peel
- Alpha Hydroxyacids are helpful in treating a variety of skin ailments. They have proven to be effective in treating dry skin, acne, liver or sun spots, fine lines and improving skin texture.
- Salicylic Peel
- Salicylic acid or beta peels are often prescribed for patients who have oily skin or are acne prone. Beta Hydroxy acids are simple organic fruit acids found in nature or synthesized in laboratory. Salicylic acid, a common beta hydroxyl acid, has been used for treating acne for decades. Beta hydroxyl acid is used to accelerate skin cell turnover and help clear pores.
One of the downfalls of fillers is that most of the more popular types of fillers, the hyaluronic acid injectables (Juvederm and Restylane), are temporary and last at best only a year. Fat injection is quickly becoming a very popular method of replacing volume in the face, hands, buttocks and in other areas affected with aging because some of the fat remains permanently.
